Jessica and James met at UC Santa Barbara while attending film school there. They were absolutely awesome to work with in that they were totally candid in all of their interactions. I just had to be in the right place at the right time. That simple. So the 16mm film camera he has isn’t just a prop, he legitly owns that piece. I brought the crane jib on my car, not knowing if I was going to use it or not, but I couldn’t resist after seeing the vineyard and pretty white flowers in the grass. The vineyard is actually where their wedding is taking place so everything in this short film has true meaning to them.

Shot on the 5DMk2 and the 7D with a bunch of Canon L lenses. Mostly the 100mm Macro IS F2.8 L and the 24-105mm F4 L. Conformed to 24P. Igus slider, Cobra crane, Glidecam HD 2000, Bogen sticks, and my partner John from Iris and Light who knows how to get money shots.

As a UCSB alumnus, it's cool to see the campus through your lenses. Well done, as usual.
